I guess STYLEVANA loves me! I love them too, it’s mutual! They have sent me a new batch of products and I have been using them for a while and now I am ready to share with you THE TRUTH about Korean Skincare! That’s a little dramatic but you know what I mean, I tested these products for a while and now I can share my opinion on them with you guys.

I want to start with sunscreens. They’ve sent me Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50+ PA++++ and Thank You Farmer Sun Project Skin-Relief Sun Cream SPF 50 PA++++.

Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50+ PA++++

This sunscreen is from the same line as the Toner that I got in the previous batch. In case you didn’t watch that video you can watch it here.

Just a little reminder, I loved that toner. In the previous video, I said that I’m not big on toners, and now I can with certainty say that I became a toner person. Because this one is so good, so hydrating. I still love it, it will be in my Korean Skincare Favorites video. Anyways I have been using this toner before this sunscreen just because they are from the same line, so I figured that would be appropriate.

Anyways, this sunscreen is amazing. It’s lightweight, easily spreadable, moisturizing but not sticky, and glowy but not shiny. It absorbs after a while and feels like a regular moisturizer.

SPF 50+ PA++++ feels like a regular moisturizer.

If you are using sunscreens on a daily basis and you are familiar with sunscreens, then you know that sunscreens are usually greasy, sticky, and heavy on the face, sometimes cause breakouts, and sometimes they leave a white cast, but not this one.

I don’t know what kind of sorcery is this.

They called this sunscreen a SERUM, and I think that they used this name because they wanted to emphasize how lightweight it is. Let’s be honest, the lightweight claim wouldn’t do the job, because that claim is overly used and most sunscreens with that claim are actually not lightweight. So I think that’s why they went for that name.

But that’s not the only reason why they called it a serum. Because this sunscreen has actives that you would usually find in a serum like Niacinamide, Centella, and Hyaluronic Acid (low, medium, and high molecular), I would call this a Sunscreen-Serum Hybrid.

Re-application is super easy, no white cast, no peeling as if you are just applying a regular moisturizer.

Bottom line is, that this is a 2in1 moisturizer and sunscreen, amazing for dry skin, I love it and I 100% recommend both this sunscreen and the toner, and I am becoming a fan of this brand.

Thank You Farmer Sun Project Skin-Relief Sun Cream SPF 50 PA++++

This sunscreen is just as good as the Madagascar one. Amazing sensor characteristics, smooth formula, lightweight texture, moisturizing but not sticky, glowy finish but not greasy, no white cast. These two are perfect sunscreens.

Actives included are: Niacinamide, Centella and Licorice Root Extract. When I look at the actives I must say that not only that Korean Skincare is making amazing formulations with amazing sensor characteristics but they also add great actives.

The only thing that I noticed regarding this sunscreen is that it’s not as hydrating as the Madagascar one. It feels as if the only ingredient missing here is Hyaluronic Acid to make it a little more hydrating, that’s all. But I still love this sunscreen and I recommend it to normal and oily skin types.

PESTLO – Ourecipe Oil to Foam Cleanser

This cleanser has two ways of use, when wearing makeup and when you are not wearing makeup.

With makeup: Take 3-4 pumps and gently massage the skin. Rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Without makeup: Take a small amount of product on your palm and lather soft foam with water. Gently massage the skin and rinse off.

When I used this for removing makeup it created little clumps of foundation, which was strange and unlike anything I’ve seen before. Rinsing is a little harder with just water, so I do recommend that you double cleanse with a water-soluble cleanser after using this one. It’s good for both oily skin types and for dry and sensitive skin types. It has very gentle surfactants. I recommend it to sensitive skin types because this is not stripping and it won’t disrupt your skin barrier.

MARY& MAY Gluconolaktone (PHA) + Betula Alba Juice Cleansing Pads

These are mild exfoliating and cleansing pads that give you visible clarity and hydration. This has Gluconolaktone (polyhydroxy acid PHA) that acts as an exfoliant and gently lifts off dead skin cells from the surface and it has 6 types of Hyaluronic Acid and Betula Alba that has a skin regenerating effect.

These pads are very hydrating, they are soaked in product. There is always more left after I am finished cleansing my face with it, and I use the leftover product on my elbows and my hands.

I use them after cleansing my face, as the second step of cleansing. You should first use the convex side to cleanse your face, and then the smooth side to moisturize. And boy do these cleansing pads moisturize.

They did make my skin look more even and clear, and they did remove blackheads from my nose (not completely but I did see the effect). Good thing is that these can be used every day because of how gentle they are.

Etude House – Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream

This is a moisturizer that is strengthening the skin’s moisture barrier, which means it’s going to be great for sensitive skin or if your skin becomes sensitive when you use Retinoids (like mine does). It has ingredients like Panthenol, Madecassoside, Shea Butter, Glycerin, etc… and it has no Fragrance which again indicates that it’s going to be great for sensitive skin.

Little goes a long way, sensor characteristics are great as always, it gives you a wonderful glow, and moisturizes well but it’s very lightweight. I would recommend this to everyone, it’s pretty universal, and anyone can use it. I would personally use it in combination with Retinoids because the consistency makes it great for combining with Retinoids, and since Retinoids can disrupt the skin barrier sometimes, it’s great that this cream does the opposite, restores it.

Torriden – DIVE-IN Low Molecule Hyaluronic Acid Serum

This is a low molecular HA serum with Panthenol. It has 5 different molecular weights of HA. That itself is impressive. It also has Madecassoside, Ceramide NP, Cholesterol etc. It’s Fragrance-Free which is important if you have sensitive skin.

The effect is good, I like it, but I honestly liked the previous one as well the Vegreen Cica Serum, I couldn’t tell the difference between these two, they are both great, very nourishing, and both great for sensitive skin.

WELLDERMA – Collagen Beauty Care Serum & Roller Set – 50ml Serum + Roller

This serum is different because it has Silk Amino Acids, Hydrolyzed Collagen, and Niacinamide among different molecular weights of HA of course. I would say that this one has better ingredients than the previous one, and all these actives might give different results long term, this one is more “anti-aging” them the previous one. I just have to emphasize that this one has fragrance so I wouldn’t recommend it to people with sensitive skin.

Short term effect right after the application is the same though; it’s very hydrating and nourishing.

I’m not sure what to say about the Roller, I’m not sure what it does, to be honest. It looks weird, yeah, let’s stop at weird lol. I don’t have anything written in English here so I’m not sure what it’s supposed to do. I personally like my Rose Quartz roller better, because that one reduces puffiness at least. The serum is good though.

The Truth about these Korean products is that they are advanced, above average, on another level, high-quality skin care products superior to European and American skincare products, and the best part is that they are affordable.
